Intern with CHI – Gain Valuable Experience While Making a Difference!

An internship at CHI offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge while working alongside our dedicated staff. Whether you’re a student, recent graduate, or looking to gain hands-on experience in social services, case management, nonprofit management, information technology, or community outreach, we welcome you to be part of our mission!

We invite students, educational institutions, community organizations, and corporate internship programs to get involved and contribute in a meaningful way.

Internship Opportunities Include:

Community Engagement & Outreach

  • Assist with program coordination and client support
  • Plan and organize special events, including holiday celebrations, educational workshops, and community gatherings

Education & Training Support

  • Help school-aged children with tutoring and mentoring
  • Assist clients with digital literacy, resume building, and job readiness training

Administrative & Office Support

  • Gain experience in data entry, filing, and office management
  • Conduct research on topics related to homelessness, poverty, affordable housing, and urban development

Marketing & Social Media

  • Assist in creating digital content, managing social media platforms, and promoting CHI’s mission online
  • Support fundraising and awareness campaigns

Hybrid, Remote & Offsite Opportunities

Can’t work on-site? You can still make an impact!

  • Research & Policy Analysis – Conduct studies on housing and economic trends

  • Fundraising & Donation Drives – Organize a collection drive for essential supplies
