Senior Vice President of Housing

Ms. Hughes-Cousins oversees housing and operations for New York City.

Ms. Hughes-Cousins joined Community Housing Innovations in March 2020. She assists with overseeing the operations of all of CHI’s emergency housing shelters and ensures the proper operations of those shelters. Ms. Hughes-Cousins has 15 plus years of experience in operations and 10 plus years’ experience in the Human Services field.

Ms. Hughes-Cousins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Criminology from Briarcliff College, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Certification in Negotiations from Suffolk Community College and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Human Services at Capella University.
